ADG is pleased to announce the addition of Vern Westgate to our sales engineering staff as the Senior Sales Engineer. Vern, at age 72,  is often referred to as the "old man" out of respect. He comes to ADG with a diverse background in technical field service and systems engineering applications. His career spans over 40-years and he has traveled to many parts of the world solving highly technical problems in both electrical and mechanical systems. He spent several years at North American and worked closely with NASA during the first Apollo manned moon mission helping the astronauts solve advanced communications and electrical problems. In addition to his diverse background in systems engineering Vern has considerable background in technical training and will head up the new ADG advanced generator training program for electricians. 

SPECIAL ADG SALE

ADG  has a large quantity of new SDMO-Ingersoll open and enclosed heavy duty designed single and 3-phase / open and enclosed quiet gensets available with special purchase pricing. All units include a 1-year / 1000-hour warranty and include advanced DeepSea digital controller, 12-hour UL double-wall fuel tank, main generator breaker, and battery/rack/cables installed as standard. These units are priced for immediate delivery for open units and select enclosed models and in 45-60 days for special quiet sound attenuated models. ADG offers a number of options including fuel tank size, heavy duty motor starting models, and ultra quiet single-phase or 3-phase models in 60kw and 75kw rated @ 65dBA. All units can be mounted on trailers with or without fuel tanks and with externally mounted quick connect outlet and autostart panels. These special purchase units are not available in UL2200 configuration.

NEW ADG SEVERE DUTY KUBOTA DIESEL CONTRACTOR RATED COMMERCIAL & MILITARY PORTABLE GENSET

ADG has developed a new portable generator as part of the Mighty Power Severe Duty products line. This new product is designed to meet the demands of severe duty environments for the military, rental companies, government agencies, and construction contractors. Models are available in Severe Duty 3kw, 4kw, 5kw and 6kw models in both single and 3-phase voltages. 

This new generator is designed around a durable long-life air-oil cooled lightweight Kubota 3600rpm diesel engine direct coupled to an oversized "H' rated Mecc Alte AVR capacitor regulated industrial generator with an optional 12VDC charging circuit. This fuel efficient and reliable engine is 12VDC battery electric start equipped. Unit is constructed from heavy wall aluminum tubing and features:  

*Lightweight 6-gallon top mounted fuel tank with sight gauge and a 12vdc auxiliary pump and connections for remote fuel supply; 

*Folding handle lifting bar system for two or four-man carry capability; 

*Special advanced-design receptacle panel with standard 120v & 240v receptacles and a lug panel for direct connection to service panels, transfer switches, or inverter systems; 

*The new receptacle panel features a 120v only or a 120-240v only connection design to optimize direct connection applications. Generator has been tested and proven reliable in the severe environments of the Middle-East.

Portable generator is designed to meet the needs of prime and continuous duty applications in severe high heat environments for contractors, rental companies, government, and the military. It has an oversized industrial grade generator for heavy duty motor starting requirements.  Options are available for special receptacle packages for construction applications - saw crews, etc. The new Severe Duty models are available in 50hz and 60hz design, in both single-phase and 3-phase power. A 6kw/DC welder portable in both 50 & 60hz models will be available later this year. A special military receptacle model is available in a 3.3kw model and a 6kw model. Units are powered with LP or NG engines and are ideal for powering mixed load applications with instantaneous short duration peak loads. The revolutionary inverter technology combined with electronic throttle and genset control, automatically adjusts engine speed to match varying electrical loads. This greater control efficiency allows for a reduction in overall size and weight by about one-third versus a conventional generator design.
